Ring out the false, ring in the true.

That’s a resolution I think many of us would happily accept for this new year.
Here’s a little music from the late great Johnny Otis. You most likely know him best for Willie and the Hand Jive but if you get a chance take a look at his bio sometime. An interesting guy. This is his Happy New Year Baby.
So, have yourself a good day and may 2018 mark the return of the power of truth. Happiness and peace to you in this New Year.

Happy New Year! and what an appropriate painting you’ve chosen. From the photos I’ve seen of the Finger Lakes region, you have winter, for real, and this is one of my favorites of your winter series.
It tickled me to see that “Happy New Year, Baby” was recorded on the Excelsior label. Higher, indeed. I think we’d all like to see things elevated a bit in this new year!
Yeah, it’s a little cool here right now, -7 this morning when I woke up. But we don’t have anything like the snow my friends in Erie have. They received something like 103″ iof the white stuff n December. I think that’s enough for even the most ardent snow lovers!
Happy New Year to you, Linda. Let’s hope that it is, indeed, an excelsior year!
Happy New Year Gary. I truly hope 2018 will be less stressful for all of us. Thanks for a year of
Wonderful thoughts, encouragements, and inspiring paintings. ❤
Thanks, Jackie. Hope 2018 is a wonderful year for you — and for us all! All my best to you.
Happy New Year, Gary. Your resolution, when added to Linda’s, make for a code of living that would improve anyone’s enjoyment of life. And, if adopted throughout the land, what an improvement for all of us… a poem, a song, good art and only the truth each and every day.
Keep a warm fire burning in the cold.
Got to do just that, Gary. Happy New Year to you, my friend.
