The colors are non-traditional, but the image reminds me of traditional Ghanaian Kente cloth. I also saw it as a modern abstract of the midwest, seen from 30,000 feet. That’s a lot of universe in one painting.
I love Paul Klee’s works, including this one, to bits. I think Paul Klee was quoting Paul Cézanne, though. Just a very, very small quibble.

Thank so much. You are absolutely correct. I sometimes check for misattribution of the quotes I use but this one slipped by. It sounded possible, at least, whereas some scream out their wrongness.
